What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
